Description

An established recycling company based in Smethwick requires a heavy plant maintenance manager.

Duties:

• Direct supervision of, and first point of contact for the maintenance team. Managing holidays, absence, shifts, and arranging cover when required.
• General maintenance and repairs of mobile and fixed plant, including - forklift trucks, 360 excavators, loading shovels, shredders, conveyers and other general recycling plant machinery.
• Ensuring maintenance schedule is adhered to.
• Attend breakdowns, diagnose faults and fix.
• Ensuring critical spares stock is reported and repair sheets are completed.
• Advise operators on basic operator maintenance.
• Follow all Health and Safety policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Supervisory / management and maintenance repair experience in a recycling heavy plant environment.
• Familiarity with the operation of a wide range of mobile and fixed recycling plant machinery.
• Health and Safety training.

Hours:

• 7am to 4pm Monday to Friday.

This is a permanent position that starts immediately.
